Effective Date: June 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how ENOTREE ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, processes, and protects your information when you utilize the ENOTREE mobile application and web dashboard. ENOTREE is a proprietary environmental software product developed, owned, and operated by Enrovix.
1. Information We Collect
To provide accurate geographical tracking and tree cataloging services, we collect information within the following categories:
- Identity and Credentials: User email address, hashed passwords, and assigned roster roles (e.g., administrator, surveyor) created during organization setup.
- Tree Survey Cataloging: Dimension logs (height, diameter, girth, canopy density), species naming classification details, notes, and custom metadata entries submitted by field operators.
- Geographical and Telemetry Data: Precise GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude, and mapping logs) captured directly from the field via the mobile application to plot interactive mapping displays.
- Media Uploads: Digital photographs of trees captured during cataloging to serve as visual confirmation and reference.
2. Server-Side Data Processing & Isolation
To ensure security and enforce data privacy, ENOTREE isolates all client application traffic. The web dashboard and mobile application do not establish direct communication channels or inject client-side security keys to our backend databases or cloud storage APIs. All requests route through our secure FastAPI backend. The backend verifies credentials, strips sensitive operational logs, and formats data payloads server-side before database write operations occur.
3. Access Controls and Roster Restrictions
ENOTREE enforces strict, role-based permission boundaries:
- Administrative Access: Only verified administrator accounts can view aggregated data analytics, examine rosters, query user details, and download or export CSV catalogs.
- Surveyor Access: Field surveyors can contribute tree logs, upload coordinates, and sync mobile inputs. They are restricted from querying database catalogs, accessing organization settings, or downloading records.
4. Local Storage and Session Cookies
We do not use advertising tracking cookies, third-party analytics pixels, or marketing scripts in ENOTREE. The web client utilizes standard local browser storage strictly to store JWT (JSON Web Token) session credentials required to maintain your active authentication session.
5. Data Security & Storage Policy
All environmental records, coordinate points, and credential databases are stored within protected PostgreSQL databases managed under strict security protocols. We implement transport-layer encryption (SSL/TLS) for all network transactions. Data is retained indefinitely to support long-term environmental forestry analysis, unless deletion is requested by an organization administrator.
6. User Rights and Compliance
Depending on your location, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
- The right to request rectification of inaccurate survey coordinates or account information.
- The right to request deletion of your account and personal history.
- The right to restrict or object to certain processing operations.
